Honk Out: delete your data
The game has no account, so there is nothing to log in to and nothing to delete on a server of ours. This page explains how to remove the data that is left. How the game handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
1. Data on your phone
Your progress, coins and settings are stored on your phone only. Uninstall the app (or clear its data in Android settings) and all of it is removed.
2. Data held by Google services
The game uses Google services for analytics, crash reports and ads. That data is linked to random IDs on your phone, not to your name. To ask us to delete it:
- Email support@frensa.site with the subject Delete my data.
- Include your advertising ID, or say that it is a general request.
- We reply within 30 days.
Where to find your advertising ID: in Android, open Settings > Security & privacy (or Privacy) > Ads. The ID is shown on that screen and you can copy it. On some phones the path is Settings > Google > Ads. Wording varies by phone maker and Android version.
3. What is deleted and what may be kept
- Deleted: analytics events and crash reports linked to your device or advertising ID.
- May be kept: data we must keep by law, and Firebase Analytics backups, which can remain for up to 14 months.
4. Other options
- Withdraw consent in the game: Settings > Privacy options. The button is shown in the regions where a choice is required.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings, at the same place as above (Delete advertising ID).
