Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the game Honk Out: Traffic Jam Puzzle ("the game") handles, who processes it and what you can do about it. The game is published by Frensa Technologies ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@frensa.site.
In short
- There is no account and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your game progress is stored on your phone only.
- The game shows ads (Google AdMob) and uses Google's Firebase for usage statistics and crash reports. These services process some device and usage data, described below.
- Purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
- Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before ads or statistics start, and you can change your choice at any time.
- The game is for people aged 13 and over.
- We do not sell your data.
1. What stays on your phone
Your progress, coins, items, settings, and the record of which purchases you own are saved in the game's private storage on your phone. We do not receive this data and it is not uploaded. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data in Android removes it.
2. Services that process data
To run the game we use the following services. They collect data automatically when the game is used; the providers are responsible for how they process it under their own policies, and act for us as described.
| Service | What it processes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (Google) | Advertising ID, IP address (which gives an approximate location), device and software details (model, Android version, language, screen), how ads are shown and interacted with, diagnostics. | To show ads (banners, full-screen ads, and videos you choose to watch for a reward), measure them, and prevent fraud. |
| Firebase Analytics (Google) | App usage events (for example which level was started or finished, a purchase or ad result), device details, and a random app-installation ID. | To understand how the game is played and to balance and improve it. |
| Firebase Crashlytics (Google) | Crash reports: the error, the state of the app, device model, Android version, and a random installation ID. | To find and fix crashes. |
| Firebase Remote Config (Google) | The game downloads its settings (for example prices in coins and how often ads appear). This uses the random installation ID and your IP address. | To tune the game without a new app version. |
| Google Play Billing (Google) | Your purchases, handled by Google Play with your Google account. We do not receive your name, card or other payment details. The game keeps on your phone only which products you own and a purchase token so that one purchase is credited once. | To sell and restore in-app purchases. |
We do not use your GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera. The game needs internet access to show ads and load settings, and it works offline otherwise.
More from Google: Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses data from apps that use its services, Firebase privacy information.
3. Consent and your choices
- Consent message. Where the law asks for it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and some US states) the game shows a privacy message, provided by Google's consent platform, when it first starts. Ads are requested only after you have made your choice, and in those regions usage statistics and crash reports start only if you agree.
- Change your choice. Open Settings (the gear icon) > Privacy options. The button is shown in the regions where a choice is required.
- Reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation. In Android: Settings > Security & privacy (or Privacy) > Ads, then Delete advertising ID. On some phones the path is Settings > Google > Ads. Wording varies by phone maker and Android version.
- Rewarded ads are always your decision. You are never forced to watch a video.
- United States. We do not sell personal information for money. Showing personalised ads through AdMob can count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state laws; the privacy message mentioned above lets you opt out where that applies.
4. Children
The game is intended for people aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 uses the game, please write to support@frensa.site.
5. How long data is kept
Data on your phone stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Data processed by Google's services is kept by Google for a limited time under its own rules (analytics event data for up to 14 months, crash reports for about 90 days, advertising data as described in Google's policies). We keep no other copy of it.
6. Your rights and deleting data
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or privacy laws in some US states) you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to some processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before.
- On your phone: uninstalling the game removes all local data.
- Data held by Google's services: we have no accounts, so this data is linked to random IDs on your phone and not to your name. The quickest ways to stop and reset it are to withdraw consent (Settings > Privacy options), delete your advertising ID, or uninstall the game. If you want us to look into a deletion or access request, email support@frensa.site; we aim to reply within 30 days. The steps are on the page Delete your data. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
7. International transfers and security
Google processes data in many countries, including the United States, using safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Connections between the game and these services are encrypted. Data on your phone is kept in the game's private storage, protected by Android.
8. This website
This website sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may process your IP address when you visit, under GitHub's privacy statement.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and where the change is important we will say so in the game. Please check back from time to time.
